1.Before applying the facial mask, gently exfoliate the skin using a mild exfoliating scrub or a wash cloth and lukewarm water. This prepares your skin to reap the benefits of the yogurt.
2.Next, apply unflavored, plain yogurt to the face with the fingertips, carefully avoiding the eyes. Gently massage in a circular motion and relax while enjoying the cooling effects. Let the yogurt rest on the skin for up to 20 minutes, then gently rinse with lukewarm water and apply moisturizer of choice.
Yogurt is mild enough that is can be used daily in homemade facial masks, but don't exfoliate too enthusiastically if used on a regular basis to prevent skin irritation.
