Is deregulation available in your area? Many states are offering the opportunity for you to choose your energy source and save money while helping the environment. Similar to the phone company break up in 1984, deregulation allows the customer to choose their energy providers, while in some cases the delivery source remains the same (i.e. PECO or PSEG).
